Fastpost LLC is a veteran-owned company committed to building strong relationships and maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive work environment. Our President and CEO, Chad Snook, served in the U.S. Army, and 31F (31 Foxtrot) was the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) for Network Switching Systems Operator - Maintainer. This MOS was responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining telecommunications networks, including switchboards and other communication systems essential for military operations. We are proud to employ fellow veterans who share our values of integrity, teamwork, and dedication. We are especially honored to highlight two of our outstanding signpost installer employees, Taylor Barnett and Richard Dillard, both veterans who contribute greatly to the success of Fastpost.
Taylor Barnett (ABH: Aviation Boatswain’s Mate - Aircraft Handling) (U.S. Navy does not have an MOS), a former U.S. Navy aviation handler, shares, "I’ve enjoyed my 3 years at Fastpost. The company provides me with a truck to get to and from work, and the work environment is always positive with helpful coworkers. As a veteran, I really appreciate how veteran-friendly the company is. After leaving the military, Chad gave me the opportunity to join the team, and I’ve been grateful ever since."
Richard Dillard (MOS: 11B), a former U.S. Army infantryman, adds, "As a disabled combat veteran, working at Fastpost has been a great experience. The communication between my role and management is excellent, and they understand my injuries from my service, making accommodations to ensure I’m comfortable and able to perform at my best."

Founded in 2006 by Chad (a former realtor) and Tracie Snook, Fastpost LLC began as a small, family-run signpost business operating out of their garage in Tracy, California. What started as a modest venture quickly grew into something much bigger. With a clear vision and unwavering commitment to quality, Fastpost transformed from a "pop-up" sign shop into the premier real estate signpost installation company in Northern California. Over the past decade, we’ve earned the trust of top real estate professionals across the Bay Area and Central Valley, becoming their go-to partner for reliable, high-quality signpost services. Today, Fastpost proudly stands as the #1 choice for signpost installations, continuing to serve our community with excellence and dedication.

Brought Manufacturing In-House
Expanding Capabilities: Bringing Sign Manufacturing In-House
As Fastpost's growth accelerated, it became clear that streamlining operations was key to meeting the increasing demand. To maintain our momentum, we made a strategic decision to bring sign manufacturing in-house. This move empowered our teams to manage the entire signpost installation process from start to finish, improving efficiency and quality control. The addition of sign manufacturing was a game changer, driving up order volume, expanding our client base, and solidifying Fastpost's reputation as a leading signpost provider in the Northern California real estate market.
2012
Acquisition of SignSetters
Acquisition of Sign Setters: Strengthening Our Bay Area Presence
Founded in 2002, Sign Setters quickly established a strong presence in the Bay Area and expanded its reach through franchising across the nation. While the company experienced significant early growth, the mortgage crisis of 2008–2009 posed major challenges, and Sign Setters struggled to recover. Recognizing an opportunity, Fastpost acquired Sign Setters in 2012, beginning with the purchase of the Sacramento franchise and culminating in the full acquisition of the franchisor in 2013. This strategic acquisition allowed Fastpost to further solidify its position as a leading provider in the region, bringing even greater service and reach to our growing client base.
2013
Expanded to Bay Area
Strategic Expansion: Growing into the Bay Area
By 2010, Fastpost had experienced significant growth, and it became clear that expanding into the Bay Area was the next crucial step. With tremendous potential stretching from the East Bay to the Peninsula, Chad recognized the opportunity and knew it was time to take Fastpost to the next level. This expansion allowed us to better serve a broader market and further cement our position as a top signpost provider in Northern California.
2016
Acquisition of Sign Systems
Sign Systems was a small company in the Modesto region. Owners of almost 30 years, Hal and Donna, trusted Fastpost to start servicing their agents.
2019
Acquisition of Signpost Specialists
Signpost Specialists, owned by Matt Jenkins, was servicing the Bay Area Region.
2020
Founded SignMyYard
Adapting and Innovating: The Launch of SignMyYard
The year 2020 brought unprecedented challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and like many businesses, the real estate sector slowed down. Rather than standing still, we saw an opportunity to evolve. It was during this that we saw the need for student and teacher appreciation close to graduation time. We decided to expand Fastpost’s offerings and introduce an entirely new product line and business model. In 2020, SignMyYard was born. This new venture brought custom school, holiday, and special occasion signs featuring a variety of logos, designed to celebrate educational and personal milestones across all ages. With a seamless ordering experience, SignMyYard quickly became a way for parents, students, and teachers to come together and commemorate remarkable achievements. SignMyYard was even featured on ABC news in April of 2020, showcasing the new product line reaching hundreds of students during the stay-at-home order for Covid-19. Since then, we’ve never looked back, continuing to innovate and grow!
2022
Launched our Luxury Post Line
Adding New Services: Giving Real Estate Agents What They Asked For
In early 2022, we paid attention to something our clients (realtors) were asking for - more of a luxury line of signposts than our initial offering. By October 2022, we launched the line with four distinct colors. We added a fifth color, Golden Pecan in early 2025.
2023
Launched JustPosted.com
Innovation in Real Estate: The Launch of JustPosted.com
At Fastpost, we’ve always strived to stay ahead of the “curb” and offer unique, valuable solutions to support real estate agents. In 2023, we took a bold step forward by launching JustPosted.com - a groundbreaking platform that allows potential buyers to view listings before they hit major sites like Zillow or Realtor.com. Users can outline their desired neighborhoods, subscribe for updates, and even message agents to schedule a showing before a home officially goes on the market. With JustPosted.com, we continue to innovate and push the boundaries of real estate technology, keeping our clients one step ahead in a competitive market.
